Unable to keep my fingers out of the development cookie jar, I'm back on the proverbial track with another game project. This one is a concept that has been rattling around the back of my head for several years, and having a working game engine and design document just begs a rev-up of the process.
In most of my projects, the directory contains an RTF file named Worklog (Project Name) filled with live entries headed by date markers in bold. (It's a very rigid format) However, I've often toyed around with the idea of publishing one of those logs for the benefit of other development friends, so this time around I'll mirror that worklog to a blog.
It will surely be narrow-view technicalities all around, and more of a inspection rather than an exposé, but perhaps something can be gleaned from it. If nothing else, visitors to #idevgames on Freenode.net are welcome to prod me about progress and make sure I keep working.
